2018, what a year! We celebrated our 40th anniversary as a charity in style with two patient conferences and a grand gala and awards ceremony, in addition to the many meetings and awareness events undertaken over the year.
We are now in the midst of a major refurbishment to the office, and we would love to show off the finished product, and have coincided the formal opening of the refurbished building with our annual general meeting this year. The official part of the opening (cutting of the ribbon) will be done by our local Bambos Charalambous MP alongside two of our newest Patrons Ms Tonia Buxton (Real Greek) and Mr Kypros Kyprianou (CEO Theo Paphitis group of companies).
We are also looking for members who are willing to join the management committee of UKTS. It is important to note that the committee meetings, while based in Southgate, offers online participation so anyone across the UK can join in, we do need your input and expertise. We are also mindful that there are many changes being introduced and would encourage participation from members throughout the UK before they are introduced as there would be little we can do after the changes are made.
Please come along to the AGM on 2nd December – looking forward to seeing everyone!
